Nancy Kaye, CFP®, CDFA®,

Nancy is a veteran financial planner, with over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, focusing on all aspects of financial planning, with a special expertise in divorce planning. Her clients range from individuals and families, to sole practitioners, to larger businesses as well as public corporations. She is a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, CDFA®. Nancy is a registered investment advisor and currently holds series 7, 24 and 63 licenses through LPL Financial, and she is licensed in life and health insurance.

In addition to her financial designations, Nancy has a Masters in Business Administration. She has been trained in the Collaborative Divorce process and works with individuals and couples in order to help navigate and come to workable solutions for the dissolution of marital assets. In her collaborative and divorce mediation work, she works closely with attorneys and mental health counselors, helping divorcing families resolve their disputes and reach mutually agreeable outcomes without litigation.

Nancy is the Treasurer and executive board member of The New York Association of Collaborative Professionals and New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, and a member of Collaborative Divorce Resolutions.

Nancy has taught Financial Planning Seminars in the Continuing Education programs at Brooklyn College, Queensborough Community College, New York Institute of Technology, Islip and Old Westbury Campuses, and Manhattan Borough Community College. She has been called as a resource for articles in Financial Advisor Magazine, Associated Press, Wall Street Journal, and Newsday on Financial Planning and Divorce Financial Planning issues.

She most recently spoke at a Financial Symposium (March 2024), sponsored by the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals on Capital Gains and Losses with a case study on how losses may be viewed as an asset for tax planning and strategies in divorce settlements.

In her spare time, Nancy loves the beach, being outdoors and is an avid tennis player. She also has a creative side as she has many artistic hobbies. Nancy is the proud mother of two children and grandmother of five grandchildren.
