David Willmott III, who also goes by 'DJ', joined the team at Point 32 Investment Partners in 2023. A native of Hampton Bays, David is a proud alumni of SUNY Cortland, and currently holds licenses 7 and 66 through LPL Financial, as well as New York State life, accident, and health insurance. David has also earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, a rigorous and highly respected credential that demonstrates his expertise in financial planning, investment management, tax strategies, retirement planning, and estate planning. This achievement reflects his deep commitment to helping clients navigate complex financial decisions with confidence.
David is currently President of Letip of Hampton Bays, a business networking group, and is also active in a charitable organization started by his grandfather, The Group. Along with his wife, Courtney, David is a proud parent to a German Shepherd named Ace and a Doberman named Nami. When he isn’t surfing, fishing, or spending time at the beach, David also enjoys gardening and playing bocce ball.
